Rent A Bike

When in Portland, do as the Portlanders do: Ride a bike. With more than 200 miles of bike lanes, Portland has been named the most bike-friendly city in the U.S. year after year.

Here are two convenient places that offer rentals:

Waterfront Bicycle, close to the Portland Hilton, will deliver a bike to your hotel! Or, to walk there from the Hilton, go north on SW Sixth Avenue and take a right at SW Washington Street. Turn left at SW Third Avenue and then take a right onto Ash Street.

Citybikes which is closer to the Convention Center and the Doubletree, also offers rentals. They are located just past the Burnside Bridge on SE Ankeny Street.

Want to enjoy the bike culture without all that pedaling? Call or hail a Pedicab, a bicycle taxi that offers service in downtown Portland and the Pearl District.

And now, a bike is the latest fashion accessory for hip Portlanders. Find out how to “wear” your two-wheeled conveyance around town.
