Shows
WILD LIFE LIVE Complete Stage Show - $500
Book your own private showing of our summer stage
show. Meet the zoo’s amazing ambassadors of the air as they
fly free over the heads of your guests. A hawk demonstrates how
it catches prey mid-air, an owl exhibits silent flight and our
eagle shows off his impressive 8 foot wingspan. Each show incldes 8 to 10 birds and lasts about 25 minutes. After the
show, guests come to the stage for an upclose look and a chance to ask the handlers question
Venues: Zoo concert lawn only. Flights are weather
permitting
Available: 4-7 p.m., Memorial Day through Labor
Day.
WILD
LIFE LIVE Mini Show - $350
Show staff present a 15-minute flight demonstration
with 4 to 5 birds. Guests learn about the natural history
of the birds, problems they face in the wild and see some
of their amazing adaptations.
Venues: indoors or out. Outdoor flights, weather
and location permitting.
Available: Throughout the year except December & January.
Earliest show at 10 a.m.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day shows are only available
after 4 p.m.

Behind the Scenes Tours
Conservation staff take you on a 30 to 40-minute
adventure behind the scenes of an animal area.
Get an upclose look at where our residents live. The animals may
not be home (they may be in their exhibits) you will
definitely get a unique perspective. Who knows,
the residents may come over and see who has
come to visit! (ages 6 and older please.)

Naturalist
Explore several discovery stations and talk to
staff about some of the amazing adaptations
of the animal world. Skulls, bones, fur and feathers are used to show
why tigers can hide and why giraffes are the “sentries
of the savanna.” Some small animals (insects, reptiles
or birds) will make special appearances. This
is a great activity for picnics and other family
events.

Available: Year-round. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, shows are only available
after 4 p.m.

Booking a Presentation
- Programs must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance.
- Outdoor presentations may be limited by weather. Temperatures
must be between 55F and 90F. Birds are not able to be flown
if it is windy or raining. On sunny days, animals on display
must be in the shade.
- For bird shows including flights, a path free of obstacles
must be provided.
- Effort will be made to meet requests for specific animals,
but animal health concerns may require substitutions.
- Staff may determine an animal must be removed from display
due to stress or other health concerns. Stress is often caused
by loud noises, unruly crowds, etc.
- Programs/Tours are to begin within five minutes of scheduled
start time.
