Summer Camp

Tips for a Good Summer Camp Experience

Clothing should be appropriate for the weather. Each camp group spends the majority of the day out on the grounds rain or shine, so don't forget raingear or sunscreen (even on overcast days).

Shoes should fit well and already be broken-in. There's a lot of walking each day of camp. No flip-flops please.

Lunch is available through the zoo. If you choose to provide your own, pack a large lunch, including beverage, as our days are active.

Snacks will be provided for all campers. Don't bring snacks, candy, money or toys.

T-shirts should be ordered for the size your child will be during their camp week. If you're not sure, order larger. One shirt is included with your camp fee.

Doctor or dentist appointments should be scheduled outside of camp hours to avoid disrupting camp.

Late arrivals or early departures disrupt camp and causes staff to be pulled away from programming. Please make every effort to respect the camp schedule.
