Conserving Oregon’s Native Pollinators

A workshop hosted by the Oregon Zoo and the Xerces Society

Learn about the importance of conserving bees and other native pollinators. Hear from experienced biologists and learn how conservation practices can be implemented into urban, agricultural and natural settings.

Location: Oregon Zoo

Objective: To better understand the importance of pollinators and pollinator conservation. Topics will include:

Agenda: In the morning, you will learn about bee ecology and pollinator conservation. In the afternoon, you will take a walk outside to look at pollinators and pollinator habitat in different settings around the zoo: vegetable gardens, backyard habitat, shrub habitat, and wildflower meadows.

Registration: Online registration is preferred, or you may print the registration form.

Cost: $33, including lunch and zoo admission
