THE FACTS:

THE PROBLEM:

• The giant panda is listed as endangered in the World Conservation Union's (IUCN's) Red List of Threatened Animals. Giant pandas are threatened by poaching, bamboo die-offs, and habitat loss due to increasing human populations, farming, and forest clearing.
