hippo made of lights ZOOLIGHTS
Nov. 27 - Jan. 3, 2010
Sun-Thu 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Fri-Sat 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The zoo comes alive as you walk through this winter wonderland of more than a million lights. This winter festival includes our lighted zoo train, choral and ensemble music, and our fantastic gift shop. Closed Dec. 24 and 25.

Learn about our animals from our zookeepers.

Second TUESDAY
Tuesday, Dec. 8| Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Tour the zoo for the discounted price of $2 per person. Children under 3 years of age will, as always, be admitted free of charge.

The chimpanzees, orangutans, mandrills and other primates receive early holiday gifts from Santa's elves (primate keepers)! Great photo opportunity - bring your camera!

Winter Zooventure day camp
Dec. 21 - 23 and 28 - 30 | Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Age 4 years - 4th grade

Spend winter break having fun at the zoo! Meet the animals and visit their exhibits. Games, crafts and stories with zoo animal themes allow kids age 4 years - 4th grade to experience a different part of the zoo each camp day. Registration begins mid- November.
