What's all this about Groundhog Day? Punxsutawney Phil may hog most of the attention, but Oregon Zoo experts say hedgehogs are the ones to watch. Celebrate Hedgehog Day at the zoo, where an African pygmy hedgehog will make its prediction: Will it be an early spring, or six more weeks of winter? Free with zoo admission.

Get an early start on celebrating Valentine's Day with a special kids-only overnight at the zoo! Bring your sleeping bag for your adventure into the nighttime wonders of the zoo. Guided tours, animals visitors and behind-the-scenes peeks are just part of the fun! Dinner, evening snack and continental breakfast included. Fee: $48 per person.

The Oregon Zoo Foundation presents "Let's Get It On," a Dine and Discover event featuring an entertaining and informative presentation about the zoo's participation in Species Survival Plans and its animal breeding programs. The evening features a special four-course Valentine's Day menu paired with local wines.
