Enter:
No purchase or obligation necessary to enter
to win. Sweepstakes runs from March 24, 2007, 12:00AM
PST to April 7, 2007, 11:59PM PST. To enter without purchase
or obligation, complete entry form located in the Gift
Shop at Oregon Zoo. Entries must be received by 11:59PM
PST on April 7, 2007. One (1) entry per day per visit
to Oregon Zoo.
- Drawing:
On
or about April 16, 2007, Oregon Zoo will conduct a random
drawing from all eligible entries received.
Entrants need not be present to win. Prize is guaranteed to
be awarded. Odds of winning will depend on the total number
of eligible entries received.
- Prize:
TWO
(2) Grand Prize packages. Each Grand Prize package to consist
of two-roundtrip coach tickets on any Southwest
Airlines-operated, published, scheduled flights.
Tickets issued by Southwest Airlines will bear the date of issue and the date
of expiration. Expiration dates will not be extended, and tickets will not be
refundable or redeemable for cash or credit at any time, nor will tickets be
replaced if lost or stolen. Ticket holder must be 18 years or older and legal
US resident. Tickets cannot be resold to a third party. Tickets may not be used
for promotional purposes unless previously approved through Southwest Airlines.
Tickets valid on Southwest-operated, published, and scheduled service only. No
substitutions are allowed. All travel must be completed by January 31, 2008.

Eligibility:
Sweepstakes open to all legal residents of the
continental U.S., 18 years and older as of March 23, 2007. Employees of Southwest
Airlines Co,
Oregon Zoo, Metro, and their immediate families (spouse and parents, children
and siblings and their spouses) and individuals living in the same households
of such employees are ineligible. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable federal,
state, and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to these
official rules and accept decisions of the Sponsor as final. Sponsor reserves
the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering
is suspected or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation
as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules. Void in Puerto
Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. This promotion is offered in
the United States only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to
United States law.
- To
Claim Prize:
Winner will be notified by telephone
or email. If Oregon Zoo, using commercially
reasonable efforts,
is unable to contact the potential winner within five (5) business
days from the first contact attempt, or if a potential winner
has not, or does not comply with these Official Rules, then
such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner may
be selected at random. Winner will be required to complete
and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release
and, where legal, a Publicity Release, which must be returned
within seven (7) days after prize notification or prize will
be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Winner’s
guests must execute Liability Releases, and where legal, Publicity
Releases prior to the issuance of travel documents. If any
guest is a minor, winner must sign all required documents on
minor’s behalf (if winner is not parent or legal guardian
of the minor). Any unclaimed or undeliverable prize will be
forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Acceptance of
prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use
winner’s name, hometown and likeness for purposes of
advertising, promotion and publicity in any media without additional
compensation.
- Limitation
of Liability:
Neither Southwest Airlines, Oregon
Zoo, nor their affiliated entities, are responsible
for printing or typographical errors in any giveaway related
materials; or transactions that are processed late or incorrectly.
Winner is solely responsible for payment of all federal, state,
and local taxes on prize and for any travel or other expenses
not specifically mentioned in prize description. Oregon Zoo
reserves the right to cancel or modify sweepstakes if fraud
or technical failure compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes
as determined by Oregon Zoo in its sole discretion.
