Sea
otters are one of the most charming animals you'll find,
but are also a predator in the their ecosystem -- with a taste,
like many humans, for crab, clams, abalone and other delicacies.
Hunted to near extinction off the Pacific Northwest
coast, there are now stable populations off the coast of Washington
after a reintroduction effort. Our exhibit will tell you how
the lack of these animals impacted kelp forests where they
used
