Discovery Room

The smallest of all Africa's predators await you in the Discovery Room, the final stop on your Serengeti journey. These fierce invertebrates — insects, spiders and scorpions — would be as dangerous as lions, if it weren't for their size. Peering down through the glass, you can see impressive arthropods such as the emperor scorpion. As you look at these fascinating creatures, you come to realize that predators come in all sizes, from the mighty lion to the venomous scorpion.

The animals aren't the only interesting things in the Discovery Room. Your children gleefully explore the chalkboards and moveable furniture, along with the hands-on artifacts, puzzles and games. Here, your kids play and make discoveries by doing!
