Conservation Education Internship
Its
a jungle out there...Why not prepare for it with an internship at the
zoo?
Job
Description: Use your research, writing and organizational
skills to help save the earth! We are looking for a college student
or graduate with coursework in communications
or biology for a 10-40 hour-per-week, 10-week-long internship.

What
you would do in this internship...
- organize
public information/education campaigns on backyard habitats, ocean
conservation,
and the zoo’s breeding programs for Northwest “sensitive” species
(turtles, condors, butterflies, etc.) This could include writing press
releases; developing content for web pages; working with graphic
designers to create
information displays and writing brochures, flyers and other written
communications pieces.
- Organize
conservation workshops and help prepare materials for conservation
events at the zoo.
