zoo?
Job
Description: We are looking for an intern to assist
our photographer in producing print-quality images to promote
the Oregon Zoo for a 20-hour-per-week. The internship is a minimum of 12 weeks, but many interns opt to stay on for 6 months or more.
What
you must have...
- Experience
in digital photography.
- Knowledge
of professional digital photographic equipment.
- Experience
using Photoshop.

Possible
assignments include...
- Photographing zoo
animals, events, visitors, staff and programs (using
our equipment).
- Set
up lighting and other equipment.
- Edit
footage using the latest Photoshop.
- Working
on ZooTracks, a full color, quarterly publication for Zoo Members.
- Fulfilling
outside publication requests.
- Helping
to maintain the zoos large photo collection.
- Working
with the design department to create eye-catching signage and interpretives.
