Videographer/Broadcast Internship

It’s a jungle out there...Why not prepare for it with an internship at the zoo?

We are looking for an intern with advanced videographer/broadcast skills for a 20-hour-per-week. The internship is a minimum of 12 weeks, but many interns opt to stay on for 6 months or more.

Job Description: We are looking for an intern to assist our videographer in producing broadcast-quality video footage and assist with editing video news releases.

What you must have...

  • Experience shooting video footage.
  • Experience using editing software.

Possible assignments include...

  • Shoot footage of zoo animals, visitors, staff and programs (using our equipment).
  • Set up lighting, microphones and other equipment.
  • Edit footage using Final Cut Pro software.
