Design Internship
Its
a jungle out there...Why not prepare for it with an internship at the
zoo?
We are looking
for an intern with advanced skills in web design to assist with the
zoos
web site
for a 20-hour-per-week. The internship is a minimum of 12 weeks, but many interns opt to stay on for 6 months or more.
What
you must have...
- A serious
interest in web design
- Knowledge
of web editing software
- Working
knowledge of PhotoShop and Dreamweaver

Possible
assignments include...
- Build
new pages for the zoos internal and external web sites.
- Assist
in the development of a new childrens section for the site.
- Offer
input and assistance with new design ideas for the site.
- Assist
with updating information on the site.
- Potentially
add interactive features, videos, sounds and other features to the site.
How

skills (be specific about the role you played in developing the site,
versus what was done by others) and a cover letter that answers the following
questions:

What do you hope to gain from this internship?
- What
kind of coursework and/or experience do you have that would make
you a valuable
intern?
- In what
areas are you most interested in attaining experience through this internship?
