WILD WORLD TOURS
Go with the Oregon Zoo!
Arctic Adventure
Tundra Buggy excursion with Deputy Conservation Manager
Dr. David Shepherdson
October
29 to November 3, 2008

Spend three days and nights on the tundra, watching polar bears and other arctic wildlife with Deputy Conservation Manager, animal behaviorist and polar bear researcher Dr. David Shepherdson.
The Oregon Zoo provides you a great opportunity to visit with and get to know others who share your passions, including two of the world’s top polar bear scientists and other Polar Bears International (PBI) special guests. You’ll be introduced to PBI special projects, including the Conferencing Classroom, Robotic Cameras and the Polar Bear Cam on BuggyOne. Your Oregon Zoo host, David Shepherdson, is there to provide fascinating commentary throughout the trip.
Known
as the “Polar Bear Capital of the World”,
Churchill also offers unique opportunities to view arctic
foxes, snowy owls, arctic hare, and gyrfalcon. Photograph
a ringed seal with a polar bear in the same frame, and
this will officially be the trip of a lifetime.
