Enrichment for Cougars

Food- Cougars are carnivores, which mean that they eat only meat. They eat deer and fish in their wild habitats.

Families- Cougars are solitary except when they are mating with females. Females with cubs are also an exception.

Location- Cougars (also known as mountain lions, Florida panthers, pumas, catamounts) are found all over the United States and parts of Canada and Mexico. Most cougar populations east of the Mississippi river have been wiped out.
