SMART? FIERCE!
The deinonychus was a small dinosaur with a big brain. It was much smaller than other predators and may have hunted in packs, like wolves. A pack of these creatures, with their long arms, sharp teeth and ferocious claws, could have brought down dinosaurs many times their size.

BIRDS OF FEATHER?
Microraptors like deinonychus had birdlike bodies. Scientists in China recently discovered feathers on a fossilized microraptor, the first evidence that feathers may have existed before birds.
