SOARING PTEROSAUR
The rhamphorhynchus is not considered a true dinosaur. It is part of a group of flying reptiles called pterosaurs. Some pterosaurs were as small as pigeons and crows, and others were as large as small airplanes. The rhamphorhynchus had a diamond-shaped flap of skin at the end of its long, thin, pointed tail. It had tiny legs and long, narrow jaws with sharp teeth that pointed outward.
