A KING WITH BONE-CRUSHING BITES
Tyrannosaurus ruled the dinosaur kingdom as one of the largest predators. (Bigger predatory dinosaurs have recently been discovered in South America and Africa.) With a 5-foot-long head, 8-inch-long teeth and a bite three times stronger than a lion's, it could have eaten 200 pounds of meat in one gulp! T. rex's little arms were actually extremely strong for holding on to struggling prey.

HUNTER, SCAVENGER OR BOTH?
With a keen sense of smell, bone-crushing bites and super speed, Tyrannosaurus could kill its own prey or simply steal it from others.
