What happens when a visionary artist meets an elephant who paints?

Calley O'Neill has collaborated closely with Rama (and the innovative keeper who choreographs their "creative contact") to begin work on some amazing art. Once complete, this interspecies exhibit-in-the-making will travel to zoos and museums of natural history, science and art, speaking on behalf of those who cannot speak.

The exhibit is dedicated to the preservation of endangered species and the restoration of their habitats. "We know so much now about the living systems of the earth," O'Neill says. "Our goal is to help close the gap between 'what we know' and 'what we do,' to create a healthy future full of life. The dream is to reach as many as possible to inspire them to help save our most precious gift, this planet and all who dwell here."
