Service at the Oregon Zoo
Cascade
Grill Restaurant and Kiosk
Where can you look out over alpine rocks and hear the sounds of exotic
animals while you eat a nice meal? The Oregon Zoo's Cascade Grill! The
spacious dining room - it seats 190 - has a high, open-beam ceiling
arching over cozy wooden booths. Carpet and metalwork chandeliers
are commissioned art pieces, reflecting the Great Northwest. When the
sun is out, the large outdoor deck is the place to be, or, for a more
intimate party, reserve the private dining room with a view of the train
and lower exhibits.
Cascade Grill offers a wide variety of menu options.
Whatever your appetite, large or small, you will find something to please
your
palate.
Cascade To Go Kiosk is located adjacent to Cascade Grill and offers a limited
menu.
Summer Hours:
open daily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m
Winter Hours: open daily

AfriCafe,
Black Rhino, and BearWalk
Cafe
Africafe offers a place to get out of the cold in the winter with a
cup of hot chocolate and a shady place for a cold soda in the summer.
AfriCafe also
offers hamburgers, hot dogs, burritos, and more.
Black Rhino is located adjacent to Africafe and offers a limited menu.
BearWalk
Cafe has a smaller menu but the smell of waffle ice cream cones make
it hard to pass up.
Black Rhino opens at 9:30, Africafe at 10:30 and Beawalk opens at 11:30 (this restaurant, like the carts, is sometimes not open if the weather is bad).
Food
Carts
Don't forget to get some popcorn, a snow cone, or an Elephant Ear while
visiting the zoo! Outlets will open and close as business and weather dictate.
Banquet
Center
Perfect for banquets, parties or meetings, the high-ceilinged
banquet room seats 450 or can be divided to accomodate smaller parties. It
is wired to serve your audio-visual needs, as is the reception area, which
can
also accommodate
live bands for receptions or weddings. The reception area opens onto a small
terrace that overlooks the zoo train tracks and the Steller Cove exhibit. Local
wines and microbrewed beers are available as well as outstanding food. To learn
