The
ZOOTEEN PROGRAM teaches students entering 9th-12th grade to present education
programs to zoo visitors. The program focuses on public interaction and conservation
education. If you are interested in learning about animals and sharing that knowledge
with others, this program is for you!

What
ZooTeens Do
Give
our youngest visitors a chance to touch and learn about animals at:
African Goat Kraal
Family
Farm
Help
with the care and feeding of animals like: chickens, ferrets, goats, hedgehogs,
rats, snakes, and more.
Do
presentations with these same animals to kids in Zoo Camp.
Participate
in a self-directed education program to learn about the zoo and it's animals.
Talk
at the Tide pools or lead activities at the Family Farm.
