Community Event Volunteering

(One day volunteer opportunities)

Looking for a way to give a few hours of your time to the zoo?
Community Event Volunteering could be what you are looking for!

Event volunteers assist with the success of zoo events by staffing activity and craft tables.

Opportunities:

• Rabbit Romp (March or April)
• Elephantastic (April)
• Bear Fair (May)
• World Animal Festival (September/October)
• Howloween (October)
• Zoolights (December)
• Special events

Specific dates for events can be found on the Oregon Zoo’s event calendar. Please note that volunteer shifts differ from public event hours.

Qualifications:

• You need to be 12 years or older
• Enjoy working with people of all ages
• Be ready to have fun
