Oregon's turtles are rare, shy and hard to find but Smith & Bybee Wetlands Natural Area is home to one of the state's largest populations of Western painted turtles. See these beautiful reptiles with the help of a Metro naturalist who will have telescopes for a close look. Learn about the natural history of painted turtles and examine some shells of specimens found there. Spanish program offered from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
