Place to Raise Their Young

By giving wildlife a place to court, breed, and raise their young you assure that you'll have backyard wildlife for the long term.

Aquatic animals use ponds; animals that live on the ground can use the shrubs or ground cover to make a nice home for their family; some birds nest in trees and shrubs while others prefer birdhouses.

Breeding and raising a family takes considerable energy, so be sure that there is food nearby to feed the parents and their young.
