Tuition Assistance

 

The Oregon Zoo is committed to providing equitable access to educational opportunities for interested students and their families.  Thanks to the JFR Foundation and many individuals, the zoo is able to offer tuition assistance for spring break and summer day camps. Online registration is not available for families seeking tuition assistance and summer assistance is limited to no more than two weeks of camp per child. Please print the Tuition Assistance Applicationand the appropriate camp registration forms and submit them via mail, email or FAX. Applications must be accompanied by proof of Zoo For All eligibility. Zoo For All eligible families are Oregon and Washington residents who:

  • receive food stamps through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • have the Oregon Trail Card or Washington Quest Card
  • are a foster family
  • receive benefits through any of the following programs:
         * Medicaid/CHIP - i.e. Oregon Health Plan and Apple Health
         * Section 8 Housing
         * WIC
         * Free/reduced school lunch
         * TANF
         * Head Start

All available tuition assistance for Summer 2019 has been granted. Please check back in mid- February for Summer 2020 applications.
