Critter Club

Each thematic program consists of classes that use dramatic play, movement, story, biofacts, animal habitats, and live animal interactions* to help our youngest explorers learn how to care for wildlife and their homes.

All Aboard!

Climb into the cab of a locomotive and chug on down the tracks of the Washington Park and Zoo Railway. Meet a train engineer, visit the roundhouse, and take a ride on a handcar! Photo opportunities abound!

Ages: 3-5 (with an adult)

Tuesday, November 5 from 9:15-11:15 a.m. (FULL)

Cost:

Zoo members: $20 for one adult and one child, $13 additional child.
Non-members: $25 for one adult and one child. $13 additional child

One adult per child maximum. There must be a registered adult for every two children

Ages: 4-5 (without an adult)

Saturday, November 9 from 9:15-11:45 a.m.
OR
Thursday, November 14 from 9:15-11:45 a.m.

Cost:

Zoo members: $25 per child
Non-members: $30 per child

*Animal welfare is top priority at the Oregon Zoo. Given this, we are occasionally required to modify or cancel a scheduled live animal interaction to meet the needs of our animals. Thank you for your understanding.  


Registration Information

  • The Critter Club classes are designed for the specified age level. Please do not bring unregistered siblings to the classes.
  • Zoo admission beyond the class time is not included.
  • A snack is included in each class; however, we are unable to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions. If your child has allergies or special dietary needs, please pack your own snacks.
