An introductory walk with the native plants of Smith & Bybee

June is a great time to experience the native plant community at greater Portland’s largest urban wetland. Come participate in a native plant walk led by a member of Portland’s indigenous community to learn more about the unique ecology of the region.

Where: Smith & Bybee Wetlands Natural Area, 5300 N Marine Dr, Portland

Cost: $6 per person, $11 per family

Pets policy: To protect plants, wildlife and people, Metro does not allow pets at regional parks and natural areas. Pets can damage habitat and threaten wildlife the region has worked to protect. In natural areas where dogs are not allowed, people see more wildlife and get closer to it. Seeing-eye dogs or other service animals are allowed.
