Get ready for Thanksgiving dinner with a four-mile fun run or walk through Washington Park, ending inside the zoo.
The Thanksgiving Day tradition, organized by the Oregon Road Runners Club, is an all-ages family event that raises around $25,000 each year to fund animal care and programs at the zoo.
Runners and walkers of all abilities love the 4-mile, untimed outing between the Oregon Zoo and the International Rose Test Garden. Participants finish inside the zoo, much to the delight of two-legged and four-legged mammals alike and features three fun kids' events.
The Turkey Trot at the Oregon Zoo is a family event that has something for everyone.
