Oregon Zoo urges Second Tuesday guests to ride MAX for additional savings
The Walmart Foundation has renewed its presenting sponsorship of the Oregon Zoo's popular Second Tuesdays program, which offers visitors a chance to see the zoo for the reduced price of $4 per person on the second Tuesday of each month.
"We're very grateful for Walmart's continued support, which ensures that more of our community can be inspired to take action for wildlife," said Teri Dresler, interim zoo director.
Walmart representatives will be at the zoo July 14, handing out free reusable shopping bags and other items while supplies last.
"We're proud to sponsor the Oregon Zoo's Second Tuesday program, reducing the cost of admission by about 65 percent and making it possible for more families to enjoy the zoo and learn about wildlife conservation," said Matti Havener, senior vice president and regional general manager for Walmart. "Together, we're helping families save money on fun, family-friendly activities and create memories that will last a lifetime."
