Concert season is underway — tickets are selling fast!
If you're planning to see a concert at the Oregon Zoo this summer, you might want to act fast. Tickets for the zoo’s 2018 summer lineup are available at zooconcerts.com and they’re going quickly.
The zoo concert season kicked off June 14 with a sold-out show by reggae star Ziggy Marley and winds up Sept. 12 with another sold-out show from ’80s rocker Billy Idol.
The sounds coming from the concert lawn this summer will be almost as varied as the zoo’s wildlife. From roots reggae to the Roots, from Indigo Girls to indie rock, the 2018 season offers something for just about every music fan. Here's the rest of this year’s lineup:

In 1979, the Oregon Zoo — then called the Washington Park Zoo — became the first zoo in America to host a summer concert series. Since then, the annual slate of shows has become a quintessential part of summer in the Rose City, with an array of top artists performing in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Local vendors will be onsite for every show, providing a wide variety of food and beverage options. Regular zoo admission is included for the day of the show.
