Just a few days left to be dazzled at the Oregon Zoo's drive-through light display
Guests still have a few more evenings to brighten the winter season. ZooLights, presented by U.S. Bank, runs through Sunday, Jan. 10, at the Oregon Zoo — after that, it's lights out for another year.
ZooLights, a drive-through winter wonderland of more than 1.5 million colored lights, has been an especially hot ticket since the light display's Nov. 22 opening.
"Our capacity has been limited this year so we really hope everyone has a chance to experience ZooLights before we pack it up for the season," said Nikki Simmons, zoo events manager.
Ticket prices have been reduced during the final week, Simmons said, and zoo members enjoy an additional 25% discount.
To help ensure a safe experience for all, the following measures are in place:
- Timed ticketing/limited attendance: All guests, including members, must reserve their ZooLights tickets in advance via the zoo website. Tickets are available up to one week in advance of the visit date.
- Masks/face coverings: Drive-through guests do not need to wear masks while enjoying the lights from inside their vehicle. Masks are required, however, during check-in and other interactions with ZooLights staff.
