Oregon Zoo Pub Talks continue in fall of 2019
Learn about wildlife field conservation over dinner and drinks at the zoo! Oregon Zoo Pub Talks connect you with conservation experts who are actively working on species recovery efforts. Each month conservation, animal care or wildlife science professionals share their knowledge and experience saving animals across the planet, from the forests of Borneo to the skies and seas of the Pacific Northwest.
Oregon Zoo Pub Talks are fun, educational events that help support the zoo's mission of creating a better future for wildlife through its animal welfare, education and conservation programs. Talks take place in the Cascade Crest building, with food and beverages being available for purchase in the Cascade Grill.
Oct. 2: Sea Otters, Robert Bailey of the Elakha Alliance & Peter Hatch of the Siletz tribe
Apr. 8: True Tall Tales from Tanzania, Derek Lee and Monica Bond of the Wild Nature Institute
