Join the American Association of Zoo Keepers Portland chapter at Sunset Lanes for the annual Bowling for Rhinos fundraiser.
Since its inception, Bowling for Rhinos has raised $5,408,042 for rhino conservation efforts. One hundred percent of the money generated from this conservation fund raiser goes to protect rhinos. The International Rhino Foundation (IRF) oversees the use of funding in the Indonesian parks in order to best protect endangered species. The money supports:

- Ujung Kulon National Park in Java, Indonesia
- Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park in Sumatra, Indonesia

If you would like to participate in Bowling for Rhinos with the Portland chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register. Teams and individuals can register to participate by emailing. Bowlers raise funds by gathering tax-deductible pledges from friends, family and anyone who wants to keep rhinos from extinction. While bowlers are not required to collect pledges to participate, every dollar makes a difference for rhinos. A $10 participation fee includes shoe rental and three games of bowling. The Portland event features door prizes and raffles for a variety of items, and five free raffle tickets are awarded for every $100 collected in pledges.
While the flagship species for this fundraiser is the rhino, by providing financial assistance for the support of protected rhino sanctuaries, the project also protects many other species of animals as well as habitats.
