Sun bears live in tropical and subtropical forests of Southeast Asia. At the zoo, these nocturnal bears are often seen sleeping in their treelike perches, just as they do in their native habitat. They wake at night to dine on fish, apples, coconuts, dried fruit, oranges, strawberries, sweet potatoes, omnivore biscuits and raw eggs.
