Sunrise at the Zoo

Rise and shine with active animals one hour before the zoo opens.

Sunrise events are offered exclusively for Oregon Zoo members at the Patron, Benefactor, Sponsor and Conservation Circle Giving Society memberships, as well as Wildlife Partners at the Defender or Guardian level.

Sunrise at the Zoo
August 20 8:30–9:30 a.m.

Featuring special viewing opportunities and keeper talks at California condor, polar bear and Western pond turtle conservation laboratory. Hear from oregon Zoo experts about conservation research projects helping species in their native habitats. Embark on your own endangered species adventure visiting stations across the zoo to learn animal facts and actions you can take to help imperiled wildlife.

No RSVP is required: show your member card and ID to staff at the Oregon Zoo Foundation booth to gain entry.
