Summer days at the zoo offer an opportunity to experience zoo animals in a dynamic way. Throughout each day, staff present wildlife shows on the zoo's concert lawn to amaze and inspire audiences. Also, from October through April, bring a Wild Life Live! presentation to an assembly at your school.
Summer 2014 shows
Come meet our wildlife ambassadors! After a brief talk, you’ll have the chance to meet the animals up close, discover what makes each species unique and how you can help them. Please note that due to construction, birds will not be flying this year.
Presented by Portland General Electric
- Shows run daily, June 23 to Sept. 2.
- Show times are 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Each show lasts approximately 20 minutes. Guests can visit with the animals for an additional 20 minutes after the presentation.
- All shows are weather-dependent and are not presented on summer concert days.
