Construction or accessibility notes
- Elephants are viewable from the concert lawn during the construction of Elephant Lands.
- The path between BearWalk Cafe and the concert lawn will be closed March 9 - 13. Visitors can access Africa, Predators and elephants via WildLife Garden Way.
A new daytime zoo loop offers visitors views into the Condors of the Columbia habitat and Elephant Lands north habitat. Weekend and holiday operations begin February 14 and weekday operations begin March 23, weather dependent. The train ride is approximately six minutes long and tickets cost $3 for non-members and $2.50 for members.
All Washington Park attractions now use a Pay-to-Park system. Parking fees mirror downtown's hourly rate of $1.60/ hour with a $4 daily maximum during the non-peak season, and $6.40 daily maximum during peak season. Peak season is April 1 – September 30, and non-peak season runs from October 1 – March 31.
Ride transit and receive $1.50 off admission with each proof of ridership.
