Nothing matters more to the Oregon Zoo Foundation than the welfare of the zoo and its animals, and responsible financial practices are an important part of achieving that goal.

Being good financial stewards ensures the zoo derives the greatest possible benefit from donations, sponsorships and other forms of community support.

Ongoing support from Oregon Zoo donors and sponsors finances projects that enhance the zoo’s animal welfare, conservation and education programs. The Oregon Zoo Foundation has funded projects such as the Jonsson Center for Wildlife Conservation, where the zoo's species recovery program for California condors is housed, as well as the Predators of the Serengeti habitat and equipment for the Veterinary Medical Center, just to name a few.
