Internships

The zoo offers internships in a range of fields.

Most but not all zoo internships are unpaid, and offer real-world work experience and mentoring by professionals. Internships are available at the college or graduate level.

The application process for all internships requires the successful completion of a background check.

To be considered for a college or graduate-level internship, a student must be receiving academic credit from, or be fulfilling an academic requirement of, an accredited institution of higher education. It is the responsibility of the intern to ensure that all university or college requirements are met to receive credit.
