Purchase Terms

Vouchers are not proof of membership and do not provide admission or benefits until they are redeemed.
A voucher is not a zoo gift card, and it cannot be split, partially used, exchanged, or refunded.
All vouchers will be emailed to the purchaser after checkout. Vouchers may be forwarded to your recipient or printed and given as physical gifts.
If you buy multiple gift vouchers in one transaction, you can forward each one to an individual recipient.

Redemption Terms

All Black Friday gift membership vouchers must be redeemed by October 31, 2026.
Gift membership vouchers can be applied to any membership level and must be used in full.
Only one gift voucher can be applied to a single membership purchase or renewal.
To get the best value, choose a membership equal to or larger than your voucher description. You may redeem your voucher for a different membership than listed on the voucher, however:
If the membership level chosen is not the one shown on your voucher, you may pay a difference at checkout. Adults, guests and children are not interchangeable.
If you choose a lesser membership level than shown on your voucher, any unused value will be forfeited.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed or combined with any other discount offer or promo code.
Vouchers cannot be used to upgrade or make changes to any existing active membership.
Vouchers do not have a stored cash value and cannot be partially redeemed, refunded or used more than once.

Redemption Deadline

All Black Friday gift membership vouchers must be redeemed by October 31, 2026.

If your voucher is not redeemed by that date, the full purchase amount will be treated as a tax-deductible membership donation to the Oregon Zoo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to wildlife conservation, education, and enrichment.

Need a donation receipt? If your voucher expires unused, you can request a tax-deductible gift acknowledgment by contacting the Oregon Zoo Foundation at [email protected].

How do I redeem my Gift Membership Voucher?

Choose the Build Your Own Pack membership level that is listed on your gift membership voucher.
Enter your member details, add the membership to your shopping cart.
Select "Apply a promo code", then enter the 10-digit Voucher Code listed on your gift membership voucher and select “Apply”. Your voucher will appear as a Discount under the subtotal.
Select "Proceed to checkout" to complete your membership activation.

But what if you’re a current member? Don’t worry — you already have access to the best deals we offer, and there’s no need to rush to buy during Black Friday. Here's what you need to know:

New Members

We recommend new members purchase a Black Friday voucher and redeem it later to activate their membership. Vouchers are priced below regular membership rates and can be redeemed through October 31, 2026.

Current Members

You don't have to wait for Black Friday for the best deals! You have two great options:

Auto-renewal gets you the best renewal price any time during the year!
Sign up for auto-renewal and you’ll automatically receive 15% off your future renewals. You can enroll in auto-renewal when you purchase or renew your membership online or by calling our team before your expiration date.
You’ve already been sent a Black Friday renewal code!
Current members have received a Black Friday renewal code by email that can be used to renew online during the sale period. This code provides access to the same or similar discounted rates offered through the Black Friday gift membership voucher sale.

Important: If your current membership is still active, any renewal purchased using the Black Friday code will begin the day after your current membership expires. Any changes to membership level or named adults will not be immediate.

If you are renewing at the same level and named adults, you’ll see no difference in access or timing — your benefits will continue seamlessly.

Giving a Membership as a Gift?

If you are not one of the named adults on the membership and are purchasing it as a gift, please buy a Black Friday gift voucher instead.

This ensures the recipient can redeem it using their own name and email and receive all benefits properly.
