Discounted admission for income-assistance programs

The Oregon Zoo offers discounted admission for Oregon and Washington individuals and families who qualify for the income assistance programs listed below. If you participate in an eligible program, you may buy up to four tickets at $13 each for you and your immediate family. Please reserve tickets using the link below and bring proof of benefits and residency when you visit the zoo.

Eligible programs: 

  • Oregon Trail card
  • Washington Quest card
  • Oregon Health Plan (OHP) or Apple Health
  • WIC - eWIC card
  • TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)

Special discount days for all

The zoo offers special discount days in the fall and winter, during which guests can typically save up to 50% on admission. Check the events calendar for current dates and availability. 

Association of Zoos & Aquariums reciprocal membership discount

The Oregon Zoo honors $13 discount admission for up to four named adults and children covered by a membership at participating AZA zoos and aquariums. Reciprocal tickets are only valid for daytime zoo admission.

Northwest Attractions Alliance* reciprocal membership admission 

Museums and attractions in the Portland metro area and beyond have teamed up to offer a reciprocal membership month program. Use your membership to access a limited number of admission tickets at participating attractions during their promotional months.

Discounted admission for groups of 20 or more

Discounted group rate for general zoo admission:

  • If purchasing 20 or more adult/child general admission tickets for a specific day / time in a single transaction, you are eligible to receive a discount admission rate of $19 per ticket for all ages.
  • Non-profit organizations pay $16 per ticket for all ages. Proof of the non-profit's status must be verified at time of purchase.
  • Please note complimentary infant (ages 0-1) tickets do not qualify towards required 20 ticket minimum.
  • Group orders are non-refundable.

Military discount

Veterans and active service members receive $3 off the regular admission price when they show a military or veteran organization ID, discharge papers, or other official military identification.
